Dear Friends:
I have a big headache now. I have been using Geforce 2Max/Max card for rendering stereo images. It worked well. However, GeForce 2 has been obsolete and GeForce seems does not support Java3D stereo (I have tested Geforce 3 and 4 and did not have any luck). If any one has got experience of successfully running Java3D in Geforce 4, could you please let me know how you did it? The reason that I insist on using GeForce series is the price. It is cheaper than FireGL and Quadro and thus our users are happy about the price. Is there any plan for J3D team to build J3D to match the most popular cards?
Thank you!

I'm assuming here you're talking about stereo images on a GeForce 4, since standard Java 3D works fine on a GF4 (as you'd assume).
Didin't we have a thread earlier about stereo viewing, which essentially said that Java3D supports the "standard" stereo image extensions/API. If Geforce3-4 cards arn't supporting the backwards compatibility you might want to take it up with NVidia. However, I'm kinda surprised that GF2 supports something that GF3 and 4 don't.
I would have thought there are far more pressing issues in the standard infrastructure of Java 3D (bugs, memory issues) to think about before worrying about the extensions.
