I couldn't get the applet working through IE, so I just ran it from the command line, j2sdk1.4.1_02 j3d OpenGL 1.3.1 beta, athlon xp 2100+ 512ram, gefoce 4 4200 128ram, win XP, the only difference I could tell was a slight glitch in the new timer ever so often, it was regular so I'm pondering it was something to do with ~ the animation looping between 0 and 1 alpha values. At least thats what it looks like, I guess win2k/xp having higher standard timer resolutions means we would see less difference anyway?
Cheers
