Hi Nick,

What JDK version are you runnning? I used to have a similar problem with my
laptop with 1.4.1 and it went away when I upgraded to 1.4.1_02. In my case,
it was due to a problem with ATI cards, as described in these bugs reports:

Regards,
Martin

Subject: [JAVA3D] Java3D program crash on exit

Hello -

I've been developing a java3d application, and it runs fine on PCs, but
when it is run on almost every laptop that we've tested it on, it freezes
up the laptop when you try to exit the program, and the only recovery
option is to simply power down and reboot. Has anyone seen anything
similar to this in the past, or does anyone know what might be causing
this? It seems like resources are not being given back to Windows, but the
same OS, Win2k, is being used on the laptops and the PCs.

Thanks for any ideas.

Nick
