yup, me too, I never thought of reading them at all.
I just installed the openGL version and my codes work fine.
The UnsatisfiedLinkError that occurred previously with the OpenGL version disappeared. Wierd. (I tried OpenGL version previously but the occurance of the exception forced me to turn back to DirectX).
Thanks! ;-)

Cheers,
Jasmine

Well, I must admit that I also am one of those guys who seldom read the readmes. Maybe it's because of the name :-) ?

Hi Jasmine.
I think we must ask Java3D team to put the readme.txt in a place easier to find it!!

From  readme.txt

"Java 3D(TM) 1.3.1 Beta

README file for Win32/DirectX
....
=====================================================
Information on the Direct3D Implementation of Java 3D
=====================================================

  Unsupported Features
  --------------------
  The following features are currently unsupported in the Direct3D
  implementation of Java 3D:
    Line width
    Line antialiasing
    Point antialiasing
    PolygonAttributes backFaceNormalFlip
    RenderingAttributes ROP_XOR
    Stereo

Subject: [JAVA3D] Line Width in v1.3 DirectX version

Hi all,

I just read from http://www.j3d.org/implementation/java3d-OpenGLvsDirectX.html that Java3D v1.2.1 DirectX version does not support line width. Is this the same with v1.3 DirectX? I am currently using v1.3 and the setting of line width does not work as well, is this an unsupported feature or am I having a problem in my codes?

Regards,
Jasmine
