I got an idea and i want to try. If you replaced it, then I hope that you have done it in both rt.jar files, in the sdk and in jre.   Cheers,   Florin   P.S. I tryt to modified some java source from the JDK 1.4 i could modified the code recompile but when i debug the change are not taken into account but i can see that the code is still changed.   thanks
