Can java3d load scenes and models made with 3D Studio MAX 4 ?
We've recently started an open source project to export X3D files from 3dsmax. In general you won't get the same quality from rendering from Max in Java3D because(ones off-line rendering, the other real-time).
Right now the exporter is only 3.1 but I'm hoping to fix that today(3dsmax 5.1 just arrived!).
