This happens on IE & JRE 1.4.x only. This happens with any applet, it is not
Java3D specific.

I could not reproduce on IE & JRE 1.4.0_01 (IE 5.5 Win 2k)
I could not reproduce on IE & JRE 1.3.1_08. (IE 5.5 Win 2k)
I could not reproduce on Netscape 7.0 & JRE 1.4.x
