I need to persist a single Canvas3D throughout my application due to the way Java3D
seems to draw an irritating screen artifact every time one is created. What is the
best way to clear my old Canvas3D when it is removed from the system so that it can be
used as though new next time I call on it?

Thanks,

-ben
