Correct. There is no relation between them Things are in such a state
now that we are activey moving our clients away from Java3D and onto
either direct OpenGL work, Xj3D or a scene graph API based on the core
API  that is part of the Xj3D codebase right now, but will be moved to
a separate project.

As for what is happening with j3d.org, we've been way to busytto do
anythiung actively with it over the last month, but we have plans to
turn it into a full anything-java-3D site. Same thing with the codebase,
which was already more than just Java3D support anyway.
