Appologies for the panic message last Friday. Metrolink, who have been hosting Xj3D and a number of the other Web3d Consortium CVS repositories for the last 5 years had been giving us grief recently. Their server had been filling up preventing us from doing checkouts or commits on a regular basis. We'd been trying to get hold of them for the last couple of months as we don't have access to the server ourselves. Finally, on Friday we got given a tarball of the complete CVS repository. That meant panic moves of everything.
We're up and running again on the the new server. At this stage we've only got the Xj3D repository there. All the others like the conformance tests and old Blaxxun community source are not there, pending a decision from the Consortium about what to do with it.
In the process of moving, I made a few manual changes to the repository layout. We've updated the makefiles to go with it, so you should not notice any difference. Basically, everything has moved into a common java directory under the src directory.
The new CVSROOT should be set to
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/backup/xj3d/cvsroot
No password is required so on cvs login, just hit <enter> when it asks for one.
The module name is now called "Xj3D" (including caps).
Note, any environment variables you have set up will have to be changed to reflect this new setup.
