That doesn't you dont get a response if you post there. It also don't
mean that there are not valuable information in the old posts.
Many newbies just post their problems here, instead of searching through
old messages to see if the issue has been debated before. Therefore
people might not be so inclined to answer them because they answered the
same question 1.5 years ago. Old post are important, they are part of
the Java3D documentation available. Also because maybe the guys who had
special knowledge/experience has left the Java3D community, then their
old posts become very valuable.
