I've never played with software stereo. Why don't you use the hardware stereo capabilities ? I'm generating normal, 1 eye images, and then I'm activating the stereo capabilities from the control panel of the graphic card. That way, everything is done in the hardware itself and I'm not experiencing any visible performance degradation. Working perfect in both page flipping and anaglyph modes.
