Here is a little more info I found on the subject just for archival
purposes.  It's a little old, but all I've been able to find currently:

Looks like it is possible, but only on Windows via a pretty shady
SWT-AWT bridge class...there's more mails with problems getting it to
run, but these were the most pertinent.
