I have been using Java3D for 6 months on a Latitude 810 with a rather standard quite older nVidia

setup (Only 32MB), and I did not see real limitations. Now it depends on the data size to be rendered

obviously.

Subject: [JAVA3D] Laptop for Java3D

Hello,

I’m considering buying a Dell Inspiron 8600 with a 64MB DDR NVIDIA GeForceFX Go5200 card for doing Java3D on a laptop.

Does anyone have any experience, positive or negative, with this laptop and/or card.

Thanks,

Ted
