I just tested it on my two home computers with the following specifications :
Fedora Core 2 Kernel 2.6.7 Intel Pentium 4 1.7 GHZ / 512 MB SD RAM GeForce 4 MMX 440 JRE 1.5.0 Beta 2 and Windows XP Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ / 1 GB DDR RAM Ati Radeon 9700 Pro 256 MB JRE 1.5.0 Beta 2 It seems to run great on both of them and I don't really notice any problems with the sound. Sure took me a while to get used to the control and start shooting down planes, but that is just due to my skill at airplane games. If you guys have or know of any more examples like this I would be interested in looking at them if you could point me to the URLs. Very nice work though. -- Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Sun, 27 Jun 2004 20:04:26 +0200, Joerg 'Herkules' Plewe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi folks! > > I uploaded the first release of FlyingGuns (http://www.flyingguns.com) using the new > libs. > > The new files are installed as a WebStart extension so that no prior Java3D > installation is > necessary. > > Should work in Win32, Linux and Solaris(v9). > > Anybody can use Java3D from a WebStart installation now be putting this line into > the JNLP file: > > Code: > <!-- Load Java3D as an extension. --> > <extension name="Inoffical Java3D" > href="http://www.hardcode.de/java3dext/java3dext.jnlp"/> > > Can somebody please test it?
