In other words :
on Windows use the ControlPanel/Add or Remove Software tool
on Unix/Linux go to your jre folder and delete by hand the following files

 * jre/lib/ext/j3dcore.jar
 * jre/lib/ext/j3dutils.jar
 * jre/lib/ext/j3daudio.jar
 * jre/lib/ext/vecmath.jar
 * jre/lib/<arch>/j3dcore.so
 * jre/lib/<arch>/j3daudio.so
 * jre/lib/<arch>/j3dutils.so

As you note the the java3d files starts with j3d (dah), except vecmath.jar.
Note you must move or delete the files. Renaming has no effect for jar files.
