Java Sunners:

I need someone with (or without) a blue pony tail either to

  1. work for a really close friend of mine doing cleared development work in Tysons Corner, VA (aka clearance needed); or
  2. help create extreeeemly high end interactive multimedia consumer electronics in Rockville, MD.
Both of my friends have awesome senses of humor and are truly at the high end of the spectrum in pay, perks, and product.

With kindest regards,
Egbert & Julie

Subject: [JAVA3D] Xj3D servlet-applet communication

Hi

I'm trying to work around using Xj3D as 3d engine and servlet-applet architecture.

> Is there any 3d scene (class) within Xj3D library that can be serialized, I'was playing around com.sun.j3d.loaders.Scene but it is not serializable.
In such way it could be used as communication between servlet and applet.

> Is there any better approach? I have seen an snapshot of an application provided by Yumetech at the Xj3D website, and they are using "createVrmlComponent". But, as far as I know, this class uses loadUrl calls to get the content loaded into the scene. It means that ".wrl" files has to be publically available not through the servlet.
Isn't it? In case there is some available example could be great to have an idea how it works.

Thanks

pd: thanks very much Justin for your comments, I hope you didn't cut your blue ponytail =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
