I sent the following content a while ago, and never received any
information about this bug. Anyway, I found that turning off hardware
acceleration in the Monitors control panel made it possible to run the
3d demos. It seems that javax in general has a lot of trouble with
hardware acceleration. I hope Sun will address these issues quickly.
