Steve,
I believe that winzip 7.0 on NT handles jar files just fine, at least I have
not had a problem with it. Maybe he has an older version of winzip or different
OS...

The problem is that you're using winzip to unpack all the files. You should be
using the "jar" utility that comes with Java. See the examples of how to use it
in my previous e-mail, which is listed below.
