Hello,

I am after a clear simple example of how to copy a transgroup and all
of its children (ie the whole subtree including ALL nodes /
behaviours etc.. etc..) to another transgroup such that I can treat
the new transgroup as a completely separate entity. In effect, in an
ideal world I would like to be able to do this,

copytransgroupnode =  transgroupnode

And have it create a new tree, exactly the same as transgroupnode and
all of the children and their children etc etc, that I could then
link to another transgroup like so, (again, pseudo code)

newroottransgroupp.addChild(copytransgroup)

my idea is to translate the newroottransgroup to a different point in
space, add it to the branchgroup node and end up with a complete copy
of my animation at a separate point in space.

Is this possible or am I thinking in too simple a way?

Thanks,

Matthew.
