Thanks for a good tutorial. I used your tutorial to get started
from nothing, and I appeciate it. I am looking forward the
missing chapters.
I really appreciate it but, as you ask for comments,
you could hava talked about Geometry and not simply GeometryArray
(I tried to use CompressedGeometry)
By the way you should mention CompressedGeometry, Raster, Text3D.
and com.sun.j3d.utils.geometry.GeometryInfo, Triangulator, Stripifier
The API is not very detailled about how and when to use theses classes.
You could also mention Package com.sun.j3d.utils.compression
(CompressedGeometryFile, CompressionStream, GeometryCompressor are
in the html doc, but don't know how to use it, may be a forgetting)
I am trying to texture map aerial imagery over a Digital
Elevation Model.
My Problem is that the DEM on a regular grid has NaN where no data are
available, and Java3D don't show anything, nor complain about NaN.
How are NaN usually handled ?
I didn't find any reference to NaN in the tutorial or the API.
I whish I can remove NaN points and use Triangulator, to retriangulate
but unfortunately Triangulator don not accept unconnected points.
What is it designed for ?
Finally when shall it be translated in French ?
