Hello,

I ran across something very interesting yesterday.
At www.hypercosm.com there's a new technology specifically designed for
web-based 3d interactivity.
It features an entirely new, OO, platform independent language called OMAR
that initially looks very similar to java with built-in support for quickly
creating 3d interactive environments. They have a number of impressive 3d
applets (impressive when you can get them to work, at least).
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had checked this out, and what you
thought. It's still an early technology, but looks very promising.
I hope Sun doesn't get upset with me for posting about an apparently
competing technology, but I've been very impressed with java3d thus far, and
as I found this new technology very similar to java3d, I felt it was
applicable to the list.
