I hope everyone saw the RFD (Request For Discussion) concerning
the formation of a new newsgroup: comp.lang.java.3d. I encourage
everyone who has an interest in this to monitor the newsgroup: news.groups
to monitor the discussion on this topic.
The original proposal was comp.lang.java.java3d but the opinion
on news.groups was that the group was too limitied and would not
generate enough volume so the group was expanded. However there
is still resistance to the current group name and scope.
Also, when you see the CVF (Call For Votes) that's your chance to vote
on the creation of the newsgroup.
