I have just tried the Detonator v1.88 with my Diamond Viper V550 and it is
(markedly) slower than the latest driver from Diamond. (Although the
Diamond driver is a complete pain to install - causing the system to hang on
the first pass).
You might like to try the latest Diamond driver on your NT machine to see if
there is any improvement.

(NB. I am running Win95, which may be causing the discrepancy).

Regards,

Andy Phelps

You might also try the new reference driver from nVidia for your TNT, it's
Detonator v1.88. This driver is superior to the original Detonator and
beats out Diamonds Drivers for my Viper 550; typically the card
manufacturer's drivers beat out the reference driver, but they have some
catching up to do with this release from nVidia.
