message which says they are out of town. When you sent your mail to the alias,
it was delivered to their machine, which automatically sent you a reply.
It is quite normal to get a couple "out of the office" messages when sending
mail to j3d-interest. Folks can help to minimize this by setting up their email
programs to not autoreply if the sender is an alias.
