Wanna submit not an answer (since i'm one of many who is still unable to
run applet with Java plug-in), but rather a suggestion to Sun group. The
main problem is not with Java3D. The main problem is with Java Plug-in.
If even developers themsevles can hardly make applet run, what can be
said about users? Eg, currently we develop a game based on Java3D
library. It's supposed that player should install Plug-in and Java3D
library which is already quite a lot to demand from a common user. But
what if after installation he would be just unable to run applet anyway?
As soon as he come across the first problem he will leave the site and
never come back. Sun should pay more attention to this, really.
