Hi Olivier,

in a scene with ovorlapping objects (or only with overlapping bounding
boxes), your pickray will intersect with 2 or more bounding boxes. Only if
also the geometry intersects with your pickray, the intersection is valid.
Next you have to choose the closest distance to your position.

Subject: [JAVA3D] How to detect only ONE pick on a scene graph??

Dear fellow Java3D programmers,
I have a scene graph with various pickable objects.
On a mouse click on top of overlapped or nearby objects, how can I only
trigger one picking action ;
This happens for example when I want to implement a unique selection mode in
my world.
I have tried to consume the awt mouse event but to no result.
Any clue??
Thanks in advance.
Olivier
