Hi! I have posted a question about dynamically inserting objects some weeks ago. Meanwhile I think my code is ok, but the objects are not garbage collected correctly (or not at all). After detaching ten quadrilaterals (without textures) and inserting ten new ones about 300kB of RAM are lost forever. Textures increase this amount to several MB. I found some postings which might indicate that the garbage collection might not work on Java3D objects. Does anyone have similar problems? Is this a bug or is there a reasonable explanation?
