Folks,

This may be a stupid question, but bear with me. I realize that, at least
according to THE MANUAL, the 3D API was designed for 3d
rendering. However, I'm very interested in using the API as a 3d modeling
tool, i.e., the model part of the MVC paradigm. In my case, we're
developing a multi-agent simulation where the agents move about in a 3d
environment, and determine line of sight, for example. Rendering of the
simulations is currently not an issue. Has anyone used the 3D API in this
manner, or are there other 3D utility classes out there that are more
appropriate, or did I just miss something (the most likely case)?

thanx
upton
