Hi,

A number of people have recently asked me about getting stereo working
on Java 3D. I asked Sun about this, and Kevin Rushforth provided me
with an answer. This corrected a problem I was having with my own
code, and it will probably help you with yours.

I've put in additional information on the UNIX commands necessary to get
your Sun hardware into stereo mode (and back again). It's in the "How
to" section of the Java 3D FAQ. See my .signature below.

This info is only for Solaris and Sun workstations. The next release of
Java 3D should have support for stereo on the PC.

Many thanks to Kevin for providing this info for the FAQ,

Steve
