It's sad for those who need it, but few people outside the Java core
community care about Java in the browser, I suspect there's simply not
enough content. I actually did a test last week, just for fun, which
showed Java being used less than 1% when hitting 1000 random websites,
while Flash was used around 20%. I did not test Silverlight as it's
quite hard to detect:
