Some more perspective. "Worldwide sales of mobile phones will reach 1.28 billion units in 2008, an 11 per cent increase from last year, according to Gartner, Inc. In 2007, worldwide mobile phone sales reached 1.15 billion units. "
(Simplifying a bit) - International market for cell phones per year 1 Billion. If Apple is successful, they will sell 10 Million phones this year. That leaves 990 Million other phones with other operating systems. (BTW, I am very interested in this, so thanks for the original post).
