Peter, You should take a look at the Maccast enhanced feed (if you have a Mac interest). Not only does it provide show notes but the podcast has markers in it so that you can skip a section that does not interest you. And the graphic changes for each section so you know if it is news, a promotion spot, listener feedback or whatever. Remind me to show you at the next JAVAWUG meeting.
This would be handy with another podcast I listen to - TWIT - mentioned a few weeks ago on JavaPosse for the outrageous advertising. I've put up with the heavy-handed promotion of Audible.com and Visa because the idle speculation and sometimes inaccurate reporting is entertaining. Listening to the latest show however they are now putting advertising jingles (in the worst possible '80s way) into the middle of the show. So much for sponsorship over advertising... Phil.
