It's been a mixed bag for me too. The rev'ed site looks much better, but loading screens very painful to watch. The demos brought down a whole bank of tabs in Google Chrome (ostensibly the entire browser window... a separate window survived).
I moved to Firefox and Josh's media play demo worked OK, but got stuck on the loading page because there was a security notice _outside of the browser_ that I didn't see, so I sat there looking at the java logo forever. Then, after dragging the applet out of the browser, I had to force quit to exit. Flash never let's you know it's loading, it just does. Showing the Java logo while loading just brings back painful memories of the Applets of old. - D. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
