though, in all fairness to everyone other than Joel, generally people just take the sentence: "By installing java, you will be able to experience the power of java" and post it, letting that meme spread on its own merits. Which it has in spades: Whomever allowed that little bit of copy to pass through the inspection should be canned. Or at least moved into a different department, because he or she Failed It. I must also agree with Joel (which, really, I loathe to do): Replacing that entire thing with "Java loves you!" would have been a muuuch better idea.
