There are some other problems with the feed that I can't explain. The
quality goes into the shitter at the end and sometimes a bit gets cut
off. Fortunately the posse outro is very long, so you don't usually
notice much, but I have no idea why that's happening. sox is a very
widely used tool. Also, for some strange reason, re-starting the mp3
on an iPhone (which they all do automatically for podcasts, at the
point where you last listened to it), normally rewinds a few seconds
to give you context for the last sentence you heard, but on the
tempoposse, I've seen it rewind up to 5 minutes. Absolutely -no- clue
why it does that. It can't be stray time markers, because the tempo
process goes mp3->wav->tempoed wav->mp3 - there's nothing left of the
original mp3 other than the ID3 tag, which gets copied into the
tempoed mp3 from the original.

If anyone has any idea about any of that, I'd love to hear it. In the
mean time, when I have some time I'll cut a 30% and a 40% spedup
version, as well as some feedback to the posse with a sample so the
unwashed masses who haven't heard the Good Word about the tempoposse
can become believers as well :P
