I've listened this first episode too, and I'd like to say how good I find this initiative. As a french native speaker (mother tongue), and even if I'm used to read/listen english stuff, it's always nice to hear something in a language you master. And, last but not least, these people (the french Gang of Four, a sort of at least :)) have all the credibility because of their experience.
I'm now waiting to hear from them soon for new other episodes.
