I was just listening to episode #245 where Dick mentioned that he was working on a Calculation Engine. I was wondering what sorts of open source calculation engines exist, and what types of calculations do they implement. The latter question may seem rather naive, but I'm curious as to whether there are biostatistics, and curve fitting engines.
