One extra thing to consider: maven repository hosting for syncing to
central.  If you're writing a library, this may be very useful.  I'm
looking at oss.sonatype.org for this.

That's what I'm doing.  Though I use the google code wiki rather than
the github one.  Purely for hysterical raisins.

It seems to work fairly well for me, even though it's not as integrated
as I'd like.  But it does illustrate the flexibility available.  I don't
feel particularly tied in to any of these solutions.  The main
constraint is "where does a google search for the project land me?"

Good point -- I've never looked at the terms of use.
