Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has come across this situation before.

I'm looking at creating an OLAP (slicing and dicing of a data cube -
bit like the Excel pivot table) project.

This would consist of a database and a cool web interface where the
user to use to interrogate the data.

The obvious solution is to go down the MS path using SQLServer and
Analytic Services for the DB and OLAP functionality and then using
Dundas controls on the Web which integrate nicely onto Analytics
Services.

However I would really really like a Java alternative.

Can anyone make any suggestions in this area. I certainly haven't
found anything nearly as compelling as the MS offering so far.

Many thanks

Daniel
