Something I didn't mention in that blog post was how I made them. The
stack was:

SVG (Inkscape)
HPGL (converted by Batik and a Graphics2D implementation I made that
spits out HPGL)
Plotter (with a cutting blade)
Coloured Vinyl
Heat Press

The SVG to HPGL part is where Java got involved. :) I'm working on
polishing and generalizing that part. I will release it as open source
when it's ready.
