I thought it might be fun to envision what the JP gang would be if they were doing something else, so pick an industry / occupation being as general (ie Food Industry) or as specific (Pizza Makers) and then outline who would do what.
I'll start. If the Java Posse were in the Food Industry then: - Carl would be a Food Scientist (yes thats a real occupation), analyzing the molecular makup of food products and conducting tests on the base components. - Dick would be an 'Alton Brown' (http://www.foodnetwork.com/alton- brown/bio/index.html), going on road trips trying differing things and reporting back to us, creating his own unique receipts while recalling obscure factoids, and adding his English humour to the mix. - Tor would be kitchen designer, creating customized workspaces to enable chef's to work their magic. - Joe would be a cake decorator, enjoying working on the 'presentation' layer. He would probably own several cake shop properties and hold lots of fun decorating events. The show would still be called 'Java Posse' except it would really be about drinking coffee, and making food.
