Maven is like democracy: It's not perfect, but that's the best we got! Frankly, it's amazing how much frustration it generates. During the whole discussion it's: "How do I do XXX?": "I don't even know where to start, how to target my problem?", "It's possible but hidden in an obscure plugin", "You can, but it's against the Maven way", "You can but you need to suffer first", ... I think the feeling of being lost in front of Maven is the most annoying feeling I had as a developer.
But, Maven already change the build game, we need more dedicated developers to improve it.
