There have been improvements and more is to come; keeping in mind the 
usability at large and not only the look and feel, there are indeed 
still problems, above all the *infamous* JFileChooser. Of course this is 
a global Swing problem, but I don't understand why Quaqua is not 
integrated natively in NetBeans - I did it with blueMarine and I got a 
native looking JFileChooser, plus Sheets (ok, the latter is an API 
extension and would require some work).
