I was wondering which Devoxx sessions people are particularly looking forward to, which ones they recommend because they've seen it before and which ones they would avoid.
I'm particularly looking forward to Bob Martin's keynote. Even though I pretty much know what he's going to talk about, he's fun to watch live. And, of course, the JavaPosse session. :) Interesting concurrent sessions: James Gosling's session vs. Brian Goetz's "The Concurrency Revolution: The Hardware Story" Kirk Pepperdine's performance tuning talk vs. the Windmill testing framework Project Coin vs. Gregor Hohpe (strongly leaning towards Hohpe) Fan BOF vs. JDK 7 BOF Is the session "Towards a Universal VM" the same as the talk given last year? Is it kind of like a report from the JVM language summit? I saw Cameron Purdy's "Traditional Programming Models" at QCon London in January (it's on infoq.com) and it was okay, but missable (unless it's vastly improved in the mean time). To be honest, Day 3 is kind of a wasteland for me (sorry, Lombok-ers!), I'm wondering if I should bother going. Any strong recommendations?
