Hi Pete

Just catching up after devoxx.

I wanted to point out that I remember this statement, and that this
was totally a joke. I am sure the Aussies got it straight away. No way
would we play those kind of games - from the very start we have had a
great relationship with Atlassian and wouldn't have it any other way.
It's worth noting that we get requests for sponsorship in one form or
another all the time, and we never bite - partly because it would mean
more work for me, and partly because the question of whether we accept
sponsorship from a company with products we don't believe in would
come up.

So - to make it super-clear - *joke*. I am certain the guys at
Atlassian had a chuckle at it, and there wasn't even an ounce of
serious intent behind it. Come to that, let's face it, does Atlassian
have any competitors - I am having trouble thinking of a non-ide
vendor that offers a suite of developer centric tools of this quality
that form the same kind of stack that Atlassian has, so the
arrangement is pretty safe in my mind :-).

Cheers

Dick
