Actually I don't mind. Like Carl said at the javaposse devoxx session. The dotnet guys are amazed at how much the java language has fallen behind.
As long as we keep going forward instead of standing still. I find coin and closures already great improvements. I also hope javafx manages to catch up with silverlight. but probably that will be up to Oracle.
