Is this an old story? I thought we talked about this on the podcast a couple of episodes ago. In any case, as the article says, the reduction in force hit "accounting, HR, sales, marketing" as well as people working on "open source efforts". Take a look at Sun's software portfolio (Solaris, Java, Open Office, Glassfish, NetBeans, ...) and tell me how you can do a reduction in force and not hit open source efforts?
