Speaking proudly as a person with a bachelor of fine arts in design
degree and definitely not a computer science degree, I'll say they
wooed me.  It should also be noted that the semantics of "designer"
are totally being massaged by ubicomp progress.  From my perspective,
Adobe is becoming an island in the design world, and on this island
they excel no doubt.  However, JavaFX is out in the open waters.
