ASP, PHP, ASP.NET (ok, there is a little of something else there also)
is all like JSP and with other languages you either don't have a
choice.

I have done ASP, PHP and a veery little of ASP.NET. All was for me the
impression of writing scripts - IDE support poor (in the times I used
ithem). From that JSP is far easier.

Anyway, I would give it a 3.

>From all the web technologies I did not find THE solution so far, I am
still undecided between Wicket, Vaadin, GWT or other, still stumbling
over ones I didn't know so far. In general it seems that thick client
development is in any case more straightforward and less tricky...
